Rebtel: The Cheapest Phonecalls Ever

Rebtel is a phone service that allows you to make international calls by simply dialing a local rate phone number. So if you can make free local calls (free inclusive minutes on your phone tariff), then this will be included and the international call will be free. See below for more details....

To use the free calls follow the instructions below. It is also shown on the Rebtel website by clicking on any Rebtel link on this page...

and click the "HOW IT WORKS" tab.
Then click the "MAKE A SMART CALL" tab.

The first time you call someone, enter the number of the person you are calling on the Rebtel web site and you will get a local phone number to call. This local number will work every time you call that person.

This is the important bit.....

To make the free calls:
Dial the local number. You are then connected to the person you're calling and you should immediately ask them to hang up and call the number they see displayed on their mobile. (If they're on a landline, an email can be sent automatically if requested). The number will be a local number in their country and the same number can be used every time.

You should do this as quickly as you can.

You must stay on the line. Don't disconnect when they do, just hold on. Once they dial the local access number in their country, they will automatically be connected through to you.

There's no limit to the number of free calls you can make via this system.

Make sure you use this call back system in order to get your free calls, if you don't you will be charged Rebtel's usual rates.
